This policy explains what personal data GA Tours & Transfers collects through this website, why we use it, who we share it with and how you can exercise your rights.
1. Who we are
GA Tours & Transfers provides private transfers, chauffeur services and private tours in Portugal and is registered in the Portuguese National Register of Tourist Activity Operators (RNAAT) under no. 555389/2023. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

2. What data we collect
When you send a request
Through the request forms (home page, contact page and each tour page): your name, email, phone/WhatsApp number, the service or tour, travel date, number of passengers and your message. Together with the request we record the language of the website and how you reached it: the channel (for example a search engine, an advert, a social network or a direct visit), the first page you visited, the website you came from, the campaign parameters in the link (UTM) and, if you clicked on an advert, the advert click identifier.
When you use the WhatsApp button
Your name and email. You are then taken to WhatsApp, where the conversation is subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.
When you book and travel with us
The details needed to provide the service: passenger names, pick-up and drop-off addresses, flight details, luggage and any special needs you tell us about (such as child seats or accessibility), as well as payment and invoicing details. Payments are made through a secure payment link from the payment provider; we do not store card details.
When you browse the website
Statistics and advertising cookies are only used if you agree to them (see section 7).
3. Why we use your data and on what legal basis
- To answer your request, prepare a quote and confirm a booking — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR, art. 6(1)(b)).
- To provide the transfer or tour you booked — performance of a contract (art. 6(1)(b)).
- Invoicing and accounting — compliance with legal obligations (art. 6(1)(c)).
- Recording with your request how you reached our website — our legitimate interest in knowing which channels bring us clients (art. 6(1)(f)).
- Statistics and advertising cookies — your consent (art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
- Protecting the website against spam and abuse — our legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)).
We do not sell your data and do not use it to make automated decisions about you.
4. Who we share it with
- The driver or guide assigned to your service, only with the details needed to carry it out.
- HubSpot — customer relationship management and, with your consent, website statistics. Our HubSpot account is hosted in HubSpot’s European data centre.
- Google — Google Tag Manager and, with your consent, Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement.
- Meta — WhatsApp, when you choose to contact us there, and, with your consent to marketing cookies, measurement of Meta adverts.
- Our website hosting and email providers.
- The payment provider that processes the secure payment link.
- Public authorities, when required by law.
5. International transfers
Some of these providers (HubSpot, Google and Meta) may process data outside the European Union, namely in the United States. In those cases the transfer relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. How long we keep it
- Requests that do not result in a booking: only for as long as needed to answer and follow up on them.
- Booking and invoicing data: for the periods required by Portuguese tax and accounting law.
- Cookies: for the periods listed in section 7.
7. Cookies
This website only uses statistics and advertising cookies if you agree. You can change your choice at any time under Cookie settings, at the bottom of every page. Google Tag Manager does not set cookies itself; it only loads Google tools according to your choice.

8. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting what was done before. To exercise any of these rights, write to contacto@gatourstransfers.pt; we will reply within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (www.cnpd.pt).
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top always shows the current version.
