Sanctuary of Fátima

The experience

More than a tour. A journey of faith.

The tour begins in the historic heart of Lisbon and follows some of Portugal's most important religious sites until it reaches the Sanctuary of Fátima. The idea is not simply to move you between attractions, but to give you a private, comfortable and calm experience, with time to visit, pray, reflect and understand the religious and historical importance of each place.

The itinerary

Lisbon → Santarém → Fátima

  1. Lisbon

    Lisbon Cathedral (Sé de Lisboa)

The experience starts at the Cathedral of Lisbon. Built in the 12th century, soon after the city was retaken from the Moors, it is the oldest church in Lisbon and has survived earthquakes and centuries of change: a fitting place to begin a pilgrimage.

  2. Santarém

Sanctuary of the Most Holy Miracle

The second stop is the Church and Sanctuary of the Most Holy Miracle, linked to the Eucharistic Miracle of Santarém, one of the oldest Eucharistic miracles in Portugal, recorded since the 13th century. Here the visit slows down, with time to enter, pray and understand the story of the place.

  3. Fátima

Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima

The main destination and last stage of the experience. In Fátima you can visit the main places of the Sanctuary, with time for prayer and reflection.

    • Chapel of the Apparitions
    • Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary
    • Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity
    • Tombs of the Shepherd Children
    • Free time for prayer and reflection

Depending on the time set for the tour, you can also visit Aljustrel and the homes of the Shepherd Children.
